Is Abeka Homeschool Curriculum The Best?

When my daughter hit middle school age she began experiencing problems in school. She tended to be a very sensitive child who over-reacted to most things and she was just not very academic to start with. She was always a child that thrived on interaction with older people but had a hard time with kids her own age. She had always been in private schools where she was able to maintain, however, when she hit middle school age I was no longer able to afford private schools due to the birth of my son. We briefly tried public school but it just did not work. She was not learning the way she should and because she was so vulnerable at this age, she was always super emotional. I decided to pull her out of school and homeschool her and thus began my search for an accredited home school program.
