The Displaced Teacher

A displacement situation happens when a teacher is relocated to a different school in the district. The displacement usually comes as a surprise to the teacher, and the teacher has little say in the displacement. The only benefit of a displacement is that the teacher’s job is maintained despite the change. Tim planned a thirty-year cut-off from teaching at which point he would put in for his retirement and go on about his life. Now, is too early for Tim to retire, and leaving the teaching profession is certainly not an option – So what to do?
