People create rituals in their lives at times to create meaning and at other times to create order. Ritual artifacts are the objects people use to reinforce or represent their rituals. By learning how to use artifacts in the classroom to teach ritual, teachers can use these teaching aids to develop meaningful context for the examination of literature.
